The R Visions in Glass Family

   Who we are:

Andrew has been the Chef Instructor at The Clark County Skills Center for seventeen years.  He teaches high school juniors and seniors Culinary Arts.  Robbin works with Andrew as the Banquet and Events Coordinator.  They met working together at a Sheraton Hotel and have been married for twenty-one years.

Robbin ran and worked their restaurant and catering business "Andrew's".  Under her management the restaurant was named as one of "The Pacific Northwest Best Places To Eat" five years in a row.

Ruth is retired.  She worked twenty years in healthcare, owned a business management business, and worked as an executive assistant at Hewlett-Packard.  She is now involved in their glass business as an artist and also teaches fusing glass classes.

Andrew is an American Culinary Federation Executive Chef and a Certified Culinary Educator.   He was awarded the Washington State WA-ACTE Program Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2002.  In 2008, he was named the ACF Chef de Cuisine Society of Oregon Chef of the Year.

Ruth was the first volunteer Guardian Ad Litem to give a recommendation to the Family Court on a child abuse case in Clark County Washington.  This program is now the CASA program.

Andrew's adorable glass fish beads were selected to be displayed at the 2008 International Society of Bead Makers Show.  This honor was presented to only 13 bead makers from around the world.

All three have been active in community and church activities as volunteers and in donating art pieces for fund raising auctions.

As a family, our priorities are God, family, and helping others.

   Our mission:

To create glass art that warms the heart and stirs the imagination.
