Andrew has been the Chef
Instructor at The Clark County Skills Center for seventeen years.
He teaches high school juniors and seniors Culinary Arts. Robbin works with Andrew
as the Banquet and Events Coordinator. They met working together at
a Sheraton Hotel and have been married for twenty-one
years.
Robbin ran and
worked their restaurant and catering business "Andrew's". Under
her management the restaurant was named as one of
"The Pacific Northwest Best Places To Eat" five years in a row.
Ruth is retired.
She worked twenty years in healthcare, owned a business management
business, and worked as an executive
assistant at Hewlett-Packard. She is now involved in their glass
business as an artist and also teaches fusing
glass classes.
Andrew is an
American Culinary Federation Executive Chef and a Certified
Culinary Educator. He was awarded
the Washington State WA-ACTE Program Award for Excellence in
Teaching in 2002. In 2008, he was named the ACF Chef de
Cuisine Society of Oregon Chef of the Year.
Ruth was the
first volunteer Guardian Ad Litem to give a recommendation to the
Family Court on a child abuse case
in Clark County Washington. This program is now the CASA
program.
Andrew's
adorable

fish
beads were selected to be displayed at the 2008 International
Society of Bead Makers Show. This honor was presented to only 13
bead makers from around the world.
All three have
been active in community and church activities as volunteers and in
donating art pieces for fund
raising auctions.
As a
family, our priorities are God, family, and helping others.
